DineWise Chicken Parmesan Review

DineWise has two Chicken Parmesan prepared meals on their menu. This is the more expensive one, but only by a couple of dollars, and it's the best couple of dollars you might ever spend. Not many prepared meals inspire us to shoot video, but this one did. This meal may be one of the best Chicken Parmesan meals available from any meal delivery service. And you are seeing exactly what we plated when we purchased it from DineWise.

Speaking of great value, you can have your choice of a discount off your order, or free shipping, just by visiting DineWise Coupons.

The Chicken Parmesan is significantly larger than what you receive from most other companies, and it is about as close as you will get to ordering this meal in a restaurant. While most other companies are buying processed chicken, like you can get in the frozen-food  section of your supermarket, this one is prepared fresh and makes a hearty meal.

This chicken breast has a delicious crust, a very homemade-tasting sauce, and a massive chunk of mozzarella cheese to cover it. A little more sauce would have been nice, but there is certainly enough there to enjoy. The attention to detail for this entree is quite impressive, and we sincerely think you will be happy with your purchase.

Ours came with a Risotto Rice Cake, which is also excellent. It is creamy, flavorful, and we wish this was available by the tray, because we would buy it. It could have been easy to just add a side of pasta, but the chefs really went the distance with this meal.

The Broccoli with Red Peppers is nice, and the portion size is above average. It would be a good idea to let the pouch sit for a minute or two, as the contents are very hot coming out of the microwave.

The meal does not come in a microwaveable tray. Instead, each meal component comes in its own microwave bag. We had no issues reheating our meal, but the melted cheese on the chicken could be a little messy if you try to open it as soon as it comes out of the microwave. Tip: If you let the entire meal sit for a few minutes the bags will be much easier to handle.

As of this writing, the meal is around $13 and worth more. The other DineWise Chicken Parmesan is about $11. It is much smaller, and comes with Penne Pasta and String Beans. If you were to put the two meals next to each other, the $13 meal would be everyone's favorite.

If you order one, you'll want to order ten, as they are super convenient to have in your freezer, especially if you have teenagers with busy after-school schedules. We hope you enjoy this meal, and all of your DineWise purchases, and invite you to share your comments and experiences below.

DineWise Almond Crusted Flounder Review

This meal has been one of our favorites for many years. The Almond Crusted Flounder comes out crunchy in the microwave, but it is better to be this meal in the oven if you have the time or are not at the office. For the relatively low cost of this meal the portion size of the fish is exceptional. The vegetable rice is more like a rice pilaf with vegetables, but as is the case with most DineWise prepared meals, the rice reheats perfectly in a microwave or oven.

The portion size of the broccoli tends to be on the smaller side, but the roasted garlic separates it from traditional frozen broccoli. All in all, this is a great meal for healthy diners and those looking for power lunch at the office. This is a white meat fish that is is especially flakey and fresh-tasting. It is rare to find this meal on the menus of other meal delivery services.

This meal qualifies for weight loss, low-sodium, diabetic, and healthy diets, based on the standards set by the DineWise Advisory Board of Food Experts. It is less than 400 calories, 11g of fat, 330 mg of sodium, and 40 carbohydrates. If you're on weight watchers and counting points it has nine points.

We recommend you add this meal to your order, and choose between a generous discount or free shipping, by visiting DineWise Coupons. Depending on the size of your order you can save as much as $50 or more.

In the picture above, we are showing you what the exact meal looks like should you choose to eat it in the tray that it came in or serve it on a plate. We are not professional photographers, but we do want to show you exactly what the meal that we purchased and reviewed looks like.

We welcome DineWise customers to come back and share their comments and thoughts on this meal for any prepared meal they have personally purchased from DineWise.

DineWise Thai Shrimp Stir-Fry Review

Today, we are going to take a detailed look at the DineWise Thai shrimp and Vegetable stir-fry with white rice and snap peas. And of course, if you visit DineWise Coupons, you can get this meal at a substantial discount, and depending on the size of your order, choose free shipping, because delivering frozen prepared meals is expensive due to the requirement of special packaging and dry ice.

This meal is delivered frozen and comes in a very efficient cardboard tray, which is better than the plastic trays, which tend to crack when exposed to dry ice, when they are shipped. Because of the nature of this meal, you may want to consider slightly using less time in your microwave and allowing the meal to set for 2 minutes, as to not overcook the shrimp. If you do overcook the shrimp, they will become hard and robbery. Not all microwaves reheat at the same power.

This prepared meal is suitable for most healthy lifestyles as it has less than 300 calories, less than 5g of fat, and less than 500mg of sodium. It's especially good for people with diabetes as it is low in sugar and under 40 carbs for the meal.

We found the portion size to be slightly smaller than other DineWise meals, but it still makes an excellent lunch that you can take to the office. In the picture above we show this meal what it would look like if you ate this from the tray, and what it would look like if you plated it. Either way, it's a very good meal. The rice reheats perfectly without being sticky or broken.

As of this writing, the actual components of this meal are slightly different than what is advertised on the DineWise website in that snap peas are no longer provided. Instead, your order will come with regular peas. The snap peas we had in the past were better and more authentic for Thai stir-fry, but the peas that come with the meal today are also very good.

In conclusion, we would recommend this meal as a perfect office lunch or for anyone wanting to lose weight and maintain their diabetic blood sugars or just eat healthy.
